Hi, I’m Lou!

I’m all about creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind experiences and making people feel right at home. The first time I walked into this space, it completely stole my heart—I knew straight away it had magic. My husband and I spent a long, hot summer bringing it back to life, and now it’s the heart of Little Darling.

We’re lucky to be surrounded by amazing cafés, restaurants, and bars—it’s such a vibrant pocket of Adelaide! Over the past 25 years, I’ve worn a lot of hats: running retail stores (where I fell in love with visual merchandising and building strong, happy teams), supporting volunteers and fundraising for charities, building brands, mentoring young people, and yes, sprinkling in some hospo and event magic too! And I can’t forget my biggest accomplishment of all—raising my three amazing kiddos. That’s a life achievement I’m incredibly proud of!

Little Darling is my passion project. I created it to offer people warm, personal experiences and to support other brilliant small businesses along the way. It’s all about heart, creativity, and connection—and I’m so glad you’re here.
